History

Precision Translators was founded in 2003 in Bogotá, Colombia by Andrew Martin, an industrial engineer from Tennessee Technological University. It began as a family business translating technical and engineering texts and has since grown rapidly.

As a result of the company’s high quality translations and strategic location in the heart of the Americas, we have expanded our service provision to a wide variety of industries during the past six years. Our areas of expertise include medicine and pharmaceuticals, legal, IT and telecommunications, social sciences, non-governmental organizations, marketing and sales, consultancy, business and finance, energy and mining industries, construction and all fields of engineering.

Precision Translators has internal and independent professional translators with extensive linguistic competencies and experience, who, along with other specialist staff, ensure all translations are of the highest standard. Precision Translators has been accredited with certifications and membership to different highly regarded intuitions.
